	Features you expect and unique functions The HX270S has all USA, Canadian and International VHF marine channels, one button dedicated to selecting distess channel 16 and hailing channel 9 programmable scan of any number of channels, channel 16 dual watch. The PRESET key allows you to easily recall 8 of your most used channels. Additionally, an easy to see battery indicator on the LCD warns you when the battery needs recharging.
	Huge LCD and Large Digits Visibility is enhanced with an enormous LCD window with tall wide digits and bold information flags that are easy to identify. the LCD and key pads are backlit for best view-ability at night.
	Included Accessories The accessories supplied with the Standard Horizon HX270S are unmatched; a 1400 mAh Nickel Metal Hydride battery that will last over 16 hours (5/5/90 duty cycle) when transmitting at 5W. Also included is a waterproof alkaline battery tray, 12 VDC Charger, AC charger and a desk topdrop-in cradle to charge the radio on shore or on your boat.
	Submersible (30 feet for 30 minutes) Engineered for unparalleled reliability, the HX370S is designed to survive submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 Minutes.
