INTRODUCTION

• Complied with IMO New Standards to be applied on January 1,1999
• Selectable for ARPA (Automatic Radar PlottingAids) or ATA (Automatic
Tracking Aids)
• Securing navigational safety by confirmation of own ship's position on the
navigational charts and watching various navigation traces

 

The BR-2520C Series Daylight Radar does support confirmation of own ship's position, other ship's navigation routes and decision making of steering. The Series has been designed specially for aiming at navigational safety and user-friendly operation. The system is ready for your adoption to share comfortable navigation.

 

 

FEATURES

Clear high-image screen

•  It provides clear radar image even under daylight brightness and
contributes to safe navigation.

 

User-friendly operation

•  Radar basic functions are by one-key one-function. Supplemental

functions are by dialogic menu.
•  Also three user-defined switches are provided for frequent use of functions.

 

Many functions as standard

•  Standard functions include Selection of display mode (North-Up, Course-
Up and Head-Up), True Motion display, Off-center display, Zoomed
display, VST(Video Strech), Power pulse, AFC (Automatic Frequency

Control) SC/SC (Scan to Scan correlation), IR (Interference Rejection),

Guard-zone, Echo-trail, Plotting, Own ship's position (LAT/LON), Navline

display and planned route display, etc.

 

Extensive options

•  ARPA and ATA (up to 20 targets) complied with IMO Standard.

•  Plotting and storing of own ship's track and navigational chart (ERC) display.

•  Voice alarm output in English it informs of close encountered obstacle or intruder into the zone.

Overlaid navigational chart

•  It extensively contributes to navigational safety to identify own ship's position with overlaid planned routes, Navline, navigational chart data on the screen. Also alarm can be generated when approaching to the waypoint or deviating from the planned route.

Planned navigation

• Planned route can be plotted on the wide super-imposed navigational charts screen to set easily navigational routes.The navigational charts data are complied with ERC data issued by Japan Hydrographic Association and only this ERC data can be used for BR-2520C.
